Sublimation Plushies
What on earth is a sublimation printed plush?
It's where I digitally create your sona's markings on my ipad, print them with my special printer and use my heat press to turn the "ink" into a gas the seeps into the plush fabric and created custom printed plush fabric!
This is a very fun technique I love using and recently got a large A3 printer & large heat press just for this exact reason!
Also this is how fursuit eyes are created too, only difference is I use vinyl mesh!
Sublimation printed fabric is entirely water proof, vibrant and just as soft as regular minky!
Deposits / Final Payments
Payment information-
Pay attention here as I can’t stand when people send me messages asking how to pay me- since they didn’t read this.
All commissions require a 50% deposit for me to begin working- 25% of this is NON refundable if you cancel your commission after I have purchased and cut materials.
For example, you are getting a plush created - $350
You pay the deposit of $175. Once paid I begin / order your materials / print your base ect.
After I have finished them the last payment of $175 is required- along with the postage rate- this amount is $35.
The postage is expensive yes, however this freight is Auspost express, sign on delivery, full insurance cost- if they suit costs less at the post office - I refund the excess amount paid.
Your fursona plush will be created as close to your ref sheet as possible
This is why you MUST have a ref sheet clearly showing the front and back view of your character, the more detailed the ref sheet the more accurate I can create your plush!
Reference sheets with colours in highlights to the side are a fantastic feature for me to use when custom designing the fabric!
Your reference sheet MUST be flat colours -
No shading at all, as I might think this is different colours!
Ref sheet Importance!
If you didn't know computers and printers see colour very differently, for example did you know there is no such thing as white ink?
All the plushies / wings / props I make the custom design for all use white fabric as the base, this is the best colour for vibrant colours and the only way to actually get white to show in the design is by leaving transparent / negative areas in the design, and the white fabric while come through!
With sublimation printing I can get colours pretty damn close to your ref sheet- but not extract.
Plush designs with darker colours, sublimation printing can only go so far down into the plush, if you have a plush at home with this you'll notice the base colour fabric peeks out when you move around the plush fibres- this is completely normal
You will notice this more on darker plushies
This is simply not possible, as printers use CMYK
And Ipad's / computers are RGB colours
